OMA Gold is a K-8 student achievement school operating system that uses arts integration...employing the art forms — music, dance, visual arts, theater arts... to teach the academic standards in math, science, reading, writing, social studies.

OMA Gold students do better on tests than their friends at non-OMA schools. OMA Gold students learn the academic subjects from teachers who engage them by using the arts.

Engages

OMA Gold engages parents, local residents, businesses, churches, civic and arts organizations. It helps increase enrollment at program schools, identifies and incorporates local, cultural resources and artists, uses technology as a training, and classroom tool.

OMA Gold involves every student and every classroom teacher, in every classroom, throughout the school year.

Teaches

OMA Gold teachers get OMA Gold, training throughout the school year, and at the Arts Integration Academy in the summer.
